Party Pics®/Quicpics® refer to casual photos taken at events where people are often photographed multiple times, with multiple combinations of people and sometimes by multiple photographers.

We suggest all photos are posed with a minimum of 2 people in the photo.  No journalistic type photos.  We also suggest you take many combinations of photos with the subjects.  Example, if you have a group of 3 people, take photos of all 3 people together and break them into couples. The more photos you take with different combinations of people, the more pictures you will sell.

How Many Photos Should I Take?

When photographing parties or large gatherings you should expect photographers to take approximately 100 casually posed photos an hour.

How Many Photographer Should I Send to the Event?

We suggest 1 photographer per 100 people.   This may vary based on the location of the event and the length of the event.

How Do I Market Candid Photos?

We suggest using PhotoMatch ID by Face and Cell/Email or using PartyPicsNow.

What Products and Prices Should I Offer?

That depends on if you are charging your Host a service fee or not.

If you are not charging a service fee to your host and you will make your money from picture sales only, we suggest single smaller prints and downloads as your main product offering.  But certainly specialty products such as frames, keychains, pop sockets and other items are great to offer. Typically the pricing on such an event is lower than traditional portraits.  You can import a CCS Preferred offer.  If you use PartyPics Now we have several offers to choose from.

If you are charging a service fee to your host, you can still offer prints, downloads and other products, but may offer them at a lower price.

If you plan to make all your income on the event from the service fee and want to provide free digital images to the people photographed, you will want to use Quicpics.
