Composite Groups & Composite Memory Mates

Composite groups can have up to 50 subjects. If you can't do a traditional group, this is another alternative to for your "Group Photo". Unlike virtual groups you do not have to photograph on Chroma-Key/TKO backgrounds.

Setting Up Your Composite Group Backgrounds

  1. First you must create or download one of the CCS backgrounds, then upload your background image(s) to an event in CORE.

    2. Background image must be 14x10 inches (4200 x 3000 pixels) and saved as an RGB Jpg.

    3. Create an event in CORE and name it "Composite Backgrounds"

      1. Upload your backgrounds to that event

      2. You can upload to any folder name you'd like and the image can be named anything you'd like (max 16 characters, alpha numeric)

Ordering the Composite Group (Max # of People is 50)

  1. If not enabled on your event, select "Add-On Features" on the left menu and check "Digital Artwork".  Click on Event Details on the left menu to refresh the page.
  2. Click Digital Artwork on the left menu
    1. Enter the email address to be notified when the artwork is complete
    2. Artwork Type:  Composite Group
    3. Artwork Style:  Standard
    4. Enter the event#-folder-imagename of where you uploaded your background image
    5. Select which category (Division/Team) you are ordering for
      1. The default sort order is alpha-numeric by folder-image names
      2. If you have marked coaches/teachers as as "is coach/teacher", they will automatically be placed last in the image.  Last means the lower right.
      3. If you have not marked coaches/teachers, you can manually enter sequence numbers to tell us the sequence in which you want the images by checking the "Enter Sequence Images are to be displayed on the artwork"
        1. You can simply click on the first image you want in the upper left and it will automatically be marked 1 and moved to the first sequence.  Then click the next image and it will automatically be marked 2 and move into the second sequence. Repeat for all images to be included.
  3. When finished selecting images, click Queue Order for Transmit to the Lab
  4. Go to the Orders Page, then to Transmit on the left menu and transmit the artwork order.
  5. When the artwork is complete, it will automatically be posted back to the event in CORE assigned to the division you selected when ordering.

Setting Up the Composite Memory Mate in Your Offer

  1. Create an 8x10 memory mate background (2400 pixels x 3000 pixels)
    1. Click here to get the PhotoShop Template.  There is a template for vertical individual images and one for horizontal individual images.  Use the template when creating your artwork so you know where images are going to go.  The layout of the templates cannot be moved.  Images/Text/Logos will go where you see the blue and green boxes, so your background should not have anything behind these areas you want seen.
    2. Before saving, hide the blue and green boxes and save as an RGB jpg.
  2. Upload your memory mate background to your composite backgrounds event.
  3. Add the Composite Memory Mate product to your offer.  The product is CGMM: 8x10 Composite Memory Mate.
    1. Note, this product will ignore the background used when ordering the composite group.  A different 8x10 background is required for the Memory Mate product.
  4. When adding the product to your offer, you can either assign the background on the product level, or if your background will be different for each event, you can assign the background on the event level.

  5. Under offer setup make sure you enter any captions and logos you'd like included on this product.

Ordering the Composite Memory Mate

  1. Before you can order a composite memory mate you must follow the above instructions to get your composite group created and your composite memory mate added to your offer.
  2. Once you have your group ordered and memory mate product set, you'll order just like any other memory mate product.
  3. You'll select the individual image, then select the memory mate product and place your order.
