Settings - Custom Fields

Custom fields are used in manual order entry and in print, email and sms templates. This allows you to pull in custom data we don't have preset merge fields for.

Custom Fields (order) for Manual Order Entry via CORE

If you would like to flag orders with a custom field such as "cashier", "Ordered by", etc. you can enter up to 10 custom fields.   When placing an order in CORE, on the checkout page you will be prompted by your custom field.

Custom Fields (name) for Print, Email & SMS Merge Fields

You can enter up to 30 different custom name fields.  Example my be "Degree", "Position", "Major", etc.  When using the custom fields your merge field in your print, email or sms template will be $CustomName1$, $CustomName$ and so on.   When importing custom field data in a spreadsheet your column headers will be the name you gave the field, such as Degree in the first example.
