ID a Person to Multiple Group Photos (Division Override)

You can use division overrides to assign a participant's images to multiple divisions

When you photograph a subject that is in more than one group you can use division overrides to assign them to the appropriate groups. To get the correct image to pull into products like memory mates, you will need to tell CORE what individual images are matched to which groups. The way you can accomplish this is by using division overrides.

If each subject belongs to multiple groups, when you import your roster, keep names in the default division.  You will assign divisions based on the costume/uniform/group as they are being photographed.  If only some are associated with multiple groups, import the names assigned to their primary group.  You will still be able to override the group so images are assigned to the appropriate division.

Example: When photographing a dance school, the Dancer being photographed is part of two different groups.  One is "Tap Dance" group and the other is the "Ballet Dance" group.  The dancer will be photographed in two different costumes.  When the Dancer is photographed in the "Tap Dance" costume, those individual images will be assigned a division override that associate those images with the "Tap Dance" group photo.   When the Dancer is photographed in the "Ballet Dance" costume, those individual images will be assigned a division override that associate those images with the "Ballet Dance" group photo.

How to Set a Group/Division Override in PhotoMatch

In PhotoMatch, you pull up the participants name, then select the appropriate division based on the uniform/costume the individual is wearing so it matches the individual images you are about to take to the appropriate group. The division override is located in the top left of the acquire images window. Select the division from the drop down menu,  then check the box that says Override Division/Team Name before taking photos. The override will apply automatically when PhotoMatch syncs with CORE.

How to set a Group/Division Override in CORE

When you ID the images for the participant, will confirm the division matches the costume/uniform, so the appropriate group photo is assigned. When we get to the next images for the participant you choose the appropriate division from the drop down menu in order for the appropriate group to be matched in packages and products to the individual photos. You will repeat these steps for all individual images.
