Email Deliverability

To ensure your emails are delivered, we recommend using an email with your domain instead of gmail or other generic email service provider. You cannot use a yahoo or hotmail email as your business email.

If you do not have a business email using your business website domain, we strongly suggest you create one.  It will give your emails the highest chance of being delivered to your customers.

Using a common email like gmail does not allow you to setup the proper DKIM, DMARC and SPF records because you don't own the gmail domain and you can't give CCS permission to send from your email, since you don't own the domain.  This goes for any email domain that you don't own.  Example, you cannot use a hotmail of yahool email as your business email in CORE.  Hotmail and Yahoo do not allow 3rd parties to send on their behalf.  These days fewer and fewer emails with a Gmail "from" address are being delivered.

For the best email deliverability you need to use your own email domain.  Once you have your email established you will need to go into CORE and setup your DKIM settings and the key to your domain for the DKIM, DMARC and SPF records.
