Emails/Proofs > Templates > Email Templates

Email Templates are single emails that can be sent to your customers one at a time or added into an Email Campaign to automatically send at specific intervals based on offset dates for your events.

Email Templates

To view, add or edit an email template go to the Emails/Proofs Page in CORE, then select Templates > Email Templates on the left menu.

Here you will see a list of all the email templates setup in your account.

Note:  Standard CCS default templates will have CCS in the name.  Consolidated email templates will have CON in the name.

View and/or Edit Email Templates

To view or edit an email template click on the edit button to the left of the template name.

You will now be viewing the template settings.

To preview the email, click on the Preview Button to the left of the HTML Email.  It will open an example email in a different browser tab using placeholders for things like Event Name, Event Date, Deadlines, First Name and pictures.

Standard emails will also have a Text Email version, which you can preview in the same manner.

If the email template is being used in a campaign, that will be noted at the bottom of the settings in a yellow box.   If the template is associated with a campaign, any changes you make to the email template will also affect the email campaign.  If you need to edit the email template, but DO NOT want it to affect the campaign, you will need to go back to the list of templates and copy the template, then click the edit to the left of the copy.  We suggest you rename the template and make your changes as a new email template.

Note:  any time you edit an email template we recommend you send yourself a test from an event to make sure the template works as you expect it to.
