Emails/Proofs > Templates > SMS Templates
SMS Templates are cell phone text messages that you can send as a single message or include in your email campaign to go out on specific offsets from your event or PhotoMatch date. The SMS messages will contain links to the subjects images.
SMS Templates
To view, add or edit an SMS template go to the Emails/Proofs Page in CORE, then select Templates > SMS Templates on the left menu.
Here you will see a list of all your SMS templates setup in your account.
View and/or Edit SMS Templates
To view or edit an SMS template click on the edit button to the left of the template name.
You will now be viewing the template settings.
In the Text Message box you will be able to see what the message will say. Merge fields will automatically fill in and the link will be shortened in the recipients received message to viewyour.photos/uniquecodehere.
Note: There is a maximum character limit of 150 and by law, the "Unsub reply Stop" must be included in your message.
If the SMS template is being used in a campaign, that will be noted at the bottom of the settings in a yellow box. If the template is associated with a campaign, any changes you make to the SMS template will also affect the campaign. If you need to edit the SMS template, but DO NOT want it to affect the campaign, you will need to go back to the list of templates and copy the template, then click the edit to the left of the copy. We suggest you rename the template and make your changes as a new SMS template.
Note: any time you edit an SMS template we recommend you send yourself a test from an event to make sure the template works as you expect it to.
