Event Specific Discount Codes with Deadline Options

If you utilize event specific discount codes you can control the expiration date by date, event offset or an offset of when someone was photographed using PhotoMatch. Great for multi photo day events.

Event discount codes allow you to setup percent or dollar discounts that are specific to the event and have expiration date(s) based on a specific date, the event date offset (Example:  7 days after event date) or the PhotoMatch ID offset (Example:  7 days after someone was photographed and IDd via PhotoMatch).   This allows you to have discount codes that expire based on when someone was photographed.  There is also a new email/sms merge field $EventDiscountCode$ that allows you to include the discount code in your email/sms templates.

Setting up your Event with Discount Codes

1. On the events page, click the “Create New Event” button
2. Enter your event details and options as you normally do, then on the right under Add-Features check “Event Discount Code”. That will expand the discount code section.
   1. Select your discount code type
   2. Enter the code you’d like to use
   3. Enter the percent or dollar amount
   4. Select your expiration type
   5. Enter a date or offset depending on previous selection

Adding the event discount code merge field to your email and sms messages

Use the merge field $EventDiscountCode$ in your email and/or sms to automatically pull in the event discount code into your emails and messages.

Example: 

Use discount code $EventDiscountCode$ at checkout and save 20%!
