HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITH VIEW FIRST

To maximize your sales you must follow these simple guidelines.  Failing to properly follow any one or more of these guidelines will result in lower sales. 

To be successful with View First you must...

  • Take good photos - Shoot to sell
  • Take multiple poses (3-5)
  • Collect good, current and correct contact data (Emails and Cell #s)
  • Post images into personal galleries matched to the participants name and contact data
  • Get the images online fast (within minutes or hours.... not days or weeks)
  • Have a good product offering (variety, mix and match, pick a pack)

SHOOT TO SELL

Since speed to a key factor in the success of View First, you need to train photographers to "Shoot to Sell". 

That means when images are taken then need to be...

  • Properly cropped in the camera
  • Properly exposed in the camera
  • In focus
  • Good backgrounds
    • Natural surroundings - pick a location that compliments your photos
    • Chroma-Key or TKO - make sure your background options compliment your photos

POSES

When we say more poses, we mean uniquely posed images and not just extra photos of the same pose.

   

THE CONTACT DATA

Using our online registration system allows you to collect the most up-to-date contact data.  It allows you to collect multiple emails, cell numbers and optionally mailing addresses for each person being photographed.

Why is contact data so important?  Because this is how you are going to get the links to view and order images to your customer.   The more points of contact you have increases your sales opportunities.

PERSONAL GALLERIES

Posting images into personal galleries results in better sales than just posting all images and requiring your customer to find their images.  Taking the customer directly to the their images makes it easier for your customer and more likely for them to view and order photos.

FAST POSTING ONLINE

Today people expect things quickly and that includes viewing their photos.  Getting images online fast while your customer is the most excited about them is crucial to the success of a view first event.   Using our PhotoMatch system allows you to ID and upload images while you are taking the photos.   This means emails and text messages with links to personal galleries are going out within minutes of the photos being taken.

PRODUCT OFFER

We highly recommend using one of the CCS Preferred offers.  Much research and time went into creating these offers with a good mix or products and configuration options.  We've set prices to insure a good profit of 70% or higher.  You can also changes the retail prices we've set.

Being a lab we have the insight on what sells.   Not just what products sell, but what combination of products sell best.

Also, make sure your prices make sense.  Don't give bigger discounts on smaller packages.  Use mix and match on your larger packages to drive people to order more products.

We recommend after each season run a packages sold report and see what sells and what doesn't sell and make adjustments accordingly.   If you have a package that doesn't sell... revise it.  Change the product content and/or price.  Move it to a different location on the online order page.  Don't keep offering something your customer doesn't want.  We find packages that contain multiple "non-print" products don't sell as well as packages with just prints or only one specialty product.
