A slideshow is a video that strings together personal achievement graphics (PAGs). The slideshow can include an intro and/or outro slide and can optionally have the music Pomp & Circumstance playing. Voice is determined by your PAGs.
Before you can order a slideshow you must order your PAGs and your intro and outro slides.
First Step is ordering your personal achievement graphics. This can be done in bulk order entry. A slide will be produced for everyone within the specified folder, including those with no image, when bulk ordering. Keep in mind, if you order PAGs with no voice, your slideshow will not have a voice calling the names. If you order your PAGs with voice, then your slideshow will have a voice calling the names.
Second step is ordering your intro and outro slides. To order these slides, go into your event, then click on order and select individual. Select any name that has an image assigned. Click on one of their images, then add your intro and outro slides to the cart. Be sure to complete your caption information before checking out and transmitting the order. When the slides are complete you will need to ID them to a fake name like "Intro,Intro and Outro,Outro".
Third step is ordering your slideshow. Click on order, then on digital artwork. Select the "slideshow" product. Choose if you'd like music or no music. Select the division or all divisions. Select the CCSPAG folder of images. You can choose if your want the slides in Folder-Image order (if you imported a roster and allowed participants to upload their own images via a personal registration link, this will be the order of your imported roster) or alpha by last name order. Your PAG slide images will appear. Check the "check all" option. You'll now have the option to renumber the sequence in which the images appear. If you are wanting to include an intro and/or an outro slide, you will need to number them appropriately for the order in which you want them to appear in the slideshow. Example: renumber your intro slide to 0, then renumber your outro slide to a number higher than your last participant PAG, then click resort. You can renumber any slide to put it in the appropriate order. Once you see your slides in the order you want them to appear, queue up your slideshow order and then go to the transmit queue to transmit the order to the lab.
Checking the Status and Downloading the Slideshow
To check on the status of the slideshow go to the Queues page, then click on pending artwork. There you will see a status of the order. When complete you will see a download link on the right side. Click the link to view and save your slideshow to your local computer. From there you can send your slides to your school/organization or you can upload it to a video hosting site such at Youtube or Vimeo. Once uploaded to a video hosting site, you can paste the video embed link into your celebration page, if you'd like the slideshow to be available on the celebration page.
