How do I get Names and Contact Data into CORE?

If you collect data from flyers or sequence cards, you can import the info to CORE via spreadsheet.

If you need help with what headers to use on your spreadsheet, see our article about that here. Once you have your spreadsheet data typed and in the correct format, you can import the data to your event in CORE by going to the event>Names & Contact Data>Import names and orders. 

You will then be prompted to choose the file you are importing. Once you select the file, click continue. It will ask which sheet to import, that is typically sheet 1 but if your spreadsheet has multiple sheets or tabs, you will need to select the one with the data in it here. The next step is mapping the headers. You can confirm that all headers are correct and click continue. Keep the box checked that says Import secondary addresses. 

The next step will show you any errors on your spreadsheet and when you click complete it will add the data to the event.
