Face Recognition Review and Update
When using face recognition to ID images to a reference image, you can now choose to narrow the faces that are IDd in the matched images.
Notice the new option under the "Choose images to automatically identify" section.
You can now have face recognition ignore faces in the background of the images by entering a % size in the new field.
Example: if you want face recognition to ignore faces that are 50% or more smaller than the largest face in the image, you’ll enter 50 in that field.
This means it will ignore all the smaller faces in the background.
We still recommend the confidence level be set at 55 to run the job. The confidence can be changed after the job is run, without having to run the job again.
Also note: By default the reference images (selfies) will only use the largest face in the image as the reference. This resolves the issues caused by having people in the background of a selfie.
