Orders > Notes
You can record notes on orders in CORE to help you recall information pertinent to the order or event. These notes are for your internal staff. CCS does not see these notes.
Adding a Note to an Order
Pull up an order Summary in CORE. The order can be pulled up by going to the Orders Page in CORE and searching by OrderID, PIN or Customers Name.
- Once the order Summary is pulled up, at the bottom of the page you'll find a "New Note" button.
- Click the New Note button to add your notes about this order.
- Enter your note
- You can optionally assign the note to a specific CORE user
- You can optionally restrict the not to only users with admin rights
- You can optionally enter a required follow-up date
- Save
- Refresh the Order Summary page to view your newly added note
Reviewing and Editing Notes
If you utilize notes, your staff will need to be in the habit of checking their notes regularly.
To view your notes, go to the Orders Page in CORE.
- On the left menu select Notes > Current Open Notes or My Open Notes
- Current Open Notes are all notes you have the rights to review
- My Open Notes are notes assigned to you
- You can use the Date Range to narrow your list of notes
- You can use the "Find all records" search to look up keywords within the notes
- To view the note, click the "View" button
- If the note is action oriented, you can edit the note with your action when complete, or you can delete the note, or you can add a new note.
