PhotoMatch Virus Detection Issue
Follow the instructions below to set PhotoMatch as an approved program
Note: We are working with Microsoft to avoid being flagged as a virus, in the meantime, follow these steps to download and install the new version of PhotoMatch- PhotoMatch Install File
- If you get a message about a virus follow these instructions
- From your windows taskbar search "Virus & Threat" and open the the virus & threat protection
- Look for "protection history" and locate the last Threat Blocked and expand it
- Scroll to the bottom on click on Actions, the click ALLOW
- Try the download and install again.
- If it shows as a virus again go back to Virus & Protection and look for Current Threats
- Click Severe and select "Allow on Device", then click Start Actions
- Click Severe and select "Allow on Device", then click Start Actions
- Try to download the installer again. If it shows as a virus again, go back to Virus & Threat Protection and under current threats
- Click "severe" and select "Allow on Device", then click Start Actions
- Click "severe" and select "Allow on Device", then click Start Actions
- Try to download the installer again... this time it should allow the download and install
- If you get this message, select More Info
- Select Run Anyway
