The PortraitPress Affiliate Program
Share a referral link to earn store credit while protecting your core business and client relationships.
How the program works
The Affiliate program gives you a unique referral link that tracks orders placed by customers you send to PortraitPress. As your referred orders complete and your cumulative total grows, you earn store credit that you can spend on anything on the site. It is a simple way to say yes when someone asks where to print vacation photos, older wedding images, or personal projects that live outside your current jobs. Intent and rights
The Affiliate program is designed to create incremental opportunities, not to cannibalize your existing volume photography business. PortraitPress does not interface with CORE. Orders and images uploaded to PortraitPress are separate from your CORE jobs and galleries. If a customer wants the specific 8x10 you are selling from your event, the only place to buy that product is through your retail website, even if an 8x10 on PortraitPress is priced differently.
Affiliates should share their link for personal projects or existing images that customers already have in their possession. Customers may only upload photos and artwork they own or have permission to print. By using the site they confirm they have the right to print the files they submit, and we may cancel orders that violate these terms.
Earnings and credit posting
For every $500 in completed referred spend across all of your referred customers, you receive $50 in PortraitPress store credit. Totals accrue over all time rather than resetting monthly.
Credits are reviewed and posted on the 1st of each month. If your account has crossed one or more $500 thresholds by that review, the corresponding credit amounts are added at that time. Credits are deposited to the Insider email you designate, which is why we recommend that affiliates also enroll in Insider even though it is not strictly required.
Eligibility, application, and setup
You do not have to be an Insider to register, yet you will need an Insider account email where we can deposit store credit. Apply at the PortraitPress Affiliate Form and allow up to 5 business days for setup since we will provision your referral link and load ready to use CORE email templates into your account.
Multiple people tied to the same CORE account can participate. To help your team reach the $500 threshold more quickly, decide which single Insider email will receive the monthly store credit.
Returns and adjustments
Referred spend counts when orders are complete as of the monthly review. If an order is refunded before that review, it does not count toward your total. In the uncommon case that an order is reversed after credit is granted, we may adjust a future month’s credit so that your totals remain accurate.
Sharing and best practices
Let past clients know about your link using the provided email templates, add the link to your website and social profiles, and mention seasonal sales or new products from time to time so your audience keeps ordering.
