Queue Profiles

Queue profiles are preset options used when queuing emails and print templates.  You can have a number of profiles to meet all your queuing needs.

Editing or Creating Queue Profiles

Go to the Emails/Proofs Page in CORE

  • Select Template Settings on the left menu > then Queue Profiles
  • You will find 6 default profiles
    • You can click the EDIT button to view each profile detail (you won't be able to edit the default profiles)
  • To create a new profile click Add a new: queue profile
    • Name your profile
    • Describe your profile (can repeat the profile name here)
    • Under Customer Names determine who you want this profile to queue for
      • Ordered: 
      • IDd:
      • Last Name (leave this blank)
      • Divisions: (Select All Divisions)
    • Under Customer Addresses determine who you want this profile to queue for
      • Types: 
        • Note: if this profile will be used for queueing emails or SMS message you will want to check all the options: 
          • "Most Recently used"
          • "Primary"
          • "Not Primary"
          • "If name has no address, print anyway" in addition to 
      • Unless:
        • Note: if this profile will be used for queueing emails or SMS messages you will want to check these options:
          • Email address is NOT valid
          • Email address HAS bounced
      • Under Options determine who you want this profile to queue for
        • Note: if this profile will be used for queueing emails or SMS messages you MUST NOT check:
          • Include even if opted out  (by law you cannot send an email to someone who has opted out)  This feature exist, so you can queue a single email on a job to people who have opted out, but give you permission for this one time email.   DO NOT CHECK THIS FEATURE ON A QUEUE PROFILE, it could have legal consequences if you send to people who have opted out.
        • Save your profile
        • Your profile can now be used when queueing print templates, single emails or SMS messages on an event.

Using a Queue Profile when Queuing a Template, Email or SMS on an Event

Go into your event in CORE.

  • On the left menu click Order > then click Queue Email/SMS Templates
    • Select your
      • Template:
      • Sort Order (only affects printed templates)
      • Queue Profile
      • Click Queue
        • Note:  You'll see your profile selections from Customer Names down, if you need to change something, you can, before you click queue.
