Reporting - Sales by folder
Understanding what images sell is important for making decisions when booking events.
The most common instance for needing to know your sales by position or shot is in graduations. You will likely want to be able to see your sales for a handshake position vs the second shot or friends and family photos. So long as you load each of these positions to their own folder, you can see the sales by position if you run am Event Roll and Photographer Analysis Report. First go to reporting.partypics.com OR go to the reports tab in your CORE account then click the first link in the list. You will be prompted for your account number and password to login. You will then select the correct report and enter the Event Number for the graduation or event you want to see the sales for. To get the event number, go to the Events page in CORE and you will see the Event # on the event list next to the event you are reporting on.
If you are consistent in the way you name your folders, you can easily see sales based on position or photo type. We use GS to name chroma key or cut out folders, AHS to name handshake folders, ff for friends and family, PR for public relations and PRO for processionals. Keep in mind that your images will show online based on alpha numeric logic so if you want the handshake to show first, be sure to name that folder with an early alphabet letter.
You can also drill down in this report to view the actual images that sold and how much was spent on each image. If it was used in a package, a portion of the package sales will be attributed to each image within that package. If you assign photographers to your folders while uploading via the CCS Uploader, you will be able to compare sales by photographer using this report.
