Settings - Sales Tax Rate Setup

You are responsible for setting up the sales tax rates for the counties and states in which you are required to pay sales tax.

CORE allows you to setup sales tax rates for the areas you pay sales tax. In order to accurately collect and run sales tax collected reports, it is important to setup the rates correctly and review/update the rates frequently.

Sales tax collected on the retail website will be remitted back to you.  You are responsible for, reporting and paying your sales tax.

To setup your sales tax rates

  • Go to the settings page in CORE
  • On the left menu select "Tax & Shipping"
  • Then select Tax Rates
  • Under Tax Rate select the state and county and enter the sales tax rate you need to collect
  • Repeat for each county/state where you are required to pay sales tax

    NOTE:  You must leave the 00 No Sales Tax.  This is required for those that live outside your tax jurisdiction.  Those outside your tax area will not be charged sales tax.
