Using Dynamic Cutout Images for Yearbook Poses & Exports

You can now allow your customer to select a dynamic image as their yearbook pose. You can now also use that image when exporting your yearbook files

EVENT SETUP

  1. When you create your event make sure to select Chroma-Key/Knockout and Yearbook Functions. Other features are optional and based on your workflow for the execution of your event.
  2. Setup your folders for Chroma-Key or TKO
    1. Click Chroma-Key/Knockout on the left menu, then Chroma-Key/Knockout Setup
    2. Click Configure Folder
    3. In the folder dropdown select “Add Folder” (if you have not yet uploaded images) Enter your folder name.
      1. If images have already been uploaded, select the folder images were uploaded into
    4. Select your desired Cutout Method: Knockout (TKO) or Chroma-Key
      1. Note: For TKO, images must be taken on a white or light gray background
      2. Note: For Chroma-Key, images must be taken on a green or blue background
  3. You can optionally setup backgrounds to be pre-rendered

MAKING DYNAMIC IMAGES ELIGIBLE FOR ONLINE YEARBOOK POSE SELECTION

  1. Select Yearbook on the left menu
    1. Check enable end-user pose selection
    2. You may optionally select which images are eligible for yearbook pose selection by enabling photographer allowed pose selection.   If you use this feature at least one image for each person must be selected. Only images selected can be used for yearbook exports.
    3. Check dynamic chroma-key/knockout image selection
    4. Save Changes
  2. If no yearbook pose is selected, the default images will be used as the yearbook pose
    1. The default image can be selected on the ID images page or in bulk using the first or last image for each person on the headsize page.

 

IMPORTING ONLINE SELECTIONS AND HEADSIZING

  1. Select Yearbook on the left menu
    1. Click the Headsize button
    2. If you have online selections, click Import
    3. Click Headsize All Images or Headsize not headsized Images
    4. Use your mouse to move and adjust images and save your changes

 

YEARBOOK EXPORTS

  1. Select Yearbook on the left menu
    1. Click the Yearbook Export button
    2. The export setup is all the same with the exception of entering your background
      1. Enter the event#-folder-frame of your background image
      2. Note: there will be a $ .10 charge per image to render the background for the yearbook export
    3. When complete select Previous Exports on the left menu to zip and download files
